They’ve made sure I stay quiet — through fear, shame, or just knowing how this place works. One time I tried to explain to a teacher why I couldn’t concentrate. She told me to drink more water. That’s when I realized no one here can help. My body jerks without reason. My chest tightens randomly during class. I forget simple words. My friends think I’m just anxious. But this isn’t anxiety — this is someone doing something to me, from afar.
I used to be proud I was accepted into SEK. Now I feel tricked.
